The admission process must be followed in 3 progressive stages:

· 1st stage: On-line Admission procedure and consignment of application materials

Check our website around June/July: there will be a Call for the 2nd Semester!

For 2010-2011 academic year you’ll have to visit our website in October 2009!

· 2nd stage: Application and consignment of documents required by the Italian Embassy/Consulate/IIC

· 3rd stage: Entry to Italy . Lessons starts in October (1st Semester) or March (2nd Semester)

We remind you that the Master of Science is awarded after two years of study and aims to provide rigorous, advanced training in more highly specialized areas.

The essential admission requirements for the Master of Science programs are as follows:

- 12 years of pre-university education

- A bachelor degree or equivalent or 180 ECTS

- For Master of Science taught in English: TOEFL (minimum scores: 560 paper, 220 CBT, 82 IBT) or equivalent, First Certificate (minimum score: C) or IELTS (minimum score 6)

NOTE: only English mother tongue students and those who can prove that English was the medium of instruction of their Bachelor Degree (at least for 3 years) are exempted from providing any English language certification. In this last case, students are required to send a document certified by the university attesting that their programme was entirely taught in English.

- Italian Language Certificate for Master of Science taught in Italian as following:

§ Istituto Italiano di Cultura exam: at the discretion of the individual IIC Office

§ Common European Framework Course: B2

§ Certificate of successful completion from Terza Università degli Studi Roma, Università

di Perugia or Università di Siena

§ Italian Embassy evaluation: at the discretion of the individual Embassy/Consulate

Every year there is the opportunity to request consideration for specific scholarships offered to international students. Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only a nominal tuition fee of €144.

Thanks to the cooperation with public and private partners, all the international students applying to one of our Master of Science courses taught in English, will be considered automatically for merit based scholarships. There’s no form to fill up.
